175 MPH on a pre-unit Triumph Video

Here is something nobody has seen on a sit-on 650cc pushrod engine motorcycle.
Naturally aspirated open class with no fairing,

The high performance pre unit Triumph engine is built / tuned by Alp Sungurtekin, no other 650cc pushrod engine in LSR history achieved what this motor has within the 2015 race season. The lsr frame is also custom designed and fabricated by Alp Racing & Design in Los Angeles, California.

Great Weekend!!

Achieved a speed of 124mph at the El Mirage drylake, not bad for a freshly build motor.

Last Race Of The Season

Now we have a long winter ahead of us until the first race next year in May. This season we joined the SCTA Club, 'Milers' and met lots of nice people, of course we gained lots of experience too. Our best official time was 116.345 MPH, we are pretty happy with the result, even though we had the potential to do better. After the '56 Triumph project, the racing bike "Kursed" will go through a complete rebuild including new design sheet metal components. The new 2012 Kursed V2 build will be published here after April, our goal is to have the total redesigned racing bike ready for Bonneville Speed Week August 2012.

At the Dry Lake Bed

What a bummer, we couldn't run because of a clutch issue..

There are two more race weekends this season at El Mirage, we have time to fix the issues and get back on the race course..
